Eliminate The Obstacles Of Success?

Many do not achieve their dreams because they fear failure. But, many fail because of fear of success.

If you are afraid to fail, you may be forced into inactivity due to being afraid of rejection. You can go to counseling to fix this one, but where can you go if you actually fear succeeding? This is harder to treat.

It is possible that you suffer from this numbing condition in your life. We must identify it.

Studying and trying to implement self-improvement techniques and/or personal development tools but your life does not improve or may even get worse.

Maybe you set soft weak goals and accept less than you really deserve.

Perhaps you get things started, but tend to lose interest before finishing the job.

When things are working in your favor do you sabotage the situation by exploring negative possible outcomes?

Can you identify your own patterns in the any of the above statements?

The fear of success can also make you behave in ways that hold you back. Look at the list below. These are the symptoms of the fear of success.

Procrastinating is a real sign. If you are avoiding the tasks that need to be finished to move you in the right direction towards success, you are showing signs of fear of success. Most of us suffer to some extent, from this condition, but some do more than others.

Personal development should be a major focus in your life. Part of your personal development should include training yourself to do the little things every day that will move you ever so closer to reaching your long term goals. If you are trapped by procrastination. Escape! Do it by taking small baby steps and actions today, tomorrow and every day. You must take action, because this habit is key to your personal development.

Can't see the forest for the trees! - this is almost the opposite of procrastination but has the same effect on your personal development. The aforementioned saying is well known but have you ever given it real consideration?

Don't get caught up in your plan believing that it is more important than the materialised goal! For many years I got caught in this trap. I started to think and act as though my plan was more important than my end result and thus missed many opportunities to alter my path and reach my goals more quickly! Let go of your ego and allow the Universe to show you a quicker route to your goal. Remain flexible.

The time is right, RIGHT NOW! Do not wait until all of the answers lie before your eyes. Take steps in the right direction now and the next instructions will arrive.

Taking action is key! Taking small steps that turn out to be wrong at first is better than not taking any steps or waiting to land on the right spot. You will now know what does not work and that is great feedback.

Are you a perfectionist? This will also get in your way. If you need things to be perfect, you will procrastinate. Things are never perfect. You can always adjust and improve as you go along. Do not wait for perfection before moving towards your goals.

Are you focused on the problems or the solutions? If you only see the problems, you will become pessimistic. Don't get me wrong. It is important to see the hurdles ahead, so you can make sure to successfully maneuver them, but don't just keep looking at them and scratching your head. Jump over them and move towards your destination.

So, you see the hurdles ahead. Now figure out how to prepare yourself to jump over them and move in the direction of the finish line. Have confidence in yourself. You have jumped hurdles before and can do it successfully again and again. They are a normal part of the race and not a race stopper.

Enjoy life! Challenges will come and go, but eventually, if you keep taking action towards your dreams and goals the things you fear will disappear and you will be that closer to a happy, fulfilled, successful life. Put away your fear of failure and success and make it happen. You deserve it!
